چکیده
زمینه و هدف: پسماندهای آزمایشگاهی در حجم کم ولی تنوع زیاد تولید می شوند و از نظر معیار خطرپذیری دارای چهار خصوصیت خورندگی، سمیت، اشتعال پذیری و واکنش پذیری می باشند به همین دلیل در دست هی پسماندهای خطرناک قرار می گیرند. برای جلوگیری از خسار تهای وارده به انسان و محیط زیست، این پسماندها نیازمند مدیریت صحیح می باشند، به همین منظور این مطالعه با هدف ارزیابی کمی، کیفی و مدیریت پسماندهای آزمایشگاهی مجتمع زکریای رازی دانشگاه علوم و تحقیقات تهران به اجرا درامد.
مواد و رو شها: در این مطالعه، با مصاحبه ی حضوری، آزمایشگاه های پر کاربرد مشخص و سپس از بین آن ها، دو آزمایشگاه آموزشی و دو آزمایشگاه پژوهشی برای نمونه گیری کمی و کیفی پسماند انتخاب شدند، پس از نمونه گیری، پسماندهای خطرناک بر اساس کلاس خطر آ نها به چهار گروه پسماند خورنده، سمی، اشتعال پذیر و واکنش پذیر طبقه بندی شدند.
یافته ها: نتایج حاصل از این مطالعه نشان داد که آزمایشگاههای پژوهشی با 54 درصد بیشترین سهم تولید پسماند اشتعال پذیر و آزمایشگا ههای آموزشی با 56 درصد بیشترین سهم تولید پسماند خورنده را به خود اختصاص داده اند.
نتیجه گیری: در اکثر آزمایشگا ههای این مجتمع ( 88 درصد) لیست مشخصی از پسماندهای تولیدی وجود ندارد و همچنین به جز 16 درصد از آزمایشگاه ها که پسماندهای خطرناک را تفکیک و در ظروف ایمن دفن می کنند، در سایر آزمایشگاهها این پسماندها داخل سینک های فاضلاب تخلیه می گردند و مدیریت صحیح وجود ندارد و لازم است لیست پسماندهای تولیدی در هر آزمایشگاه با کمک مسئول آزمایشگاهها تهیه شود.

چکیده English

Background and objective: Laboratory wastes are produced in small, but varied quantities. These wastes need to be managed correctly. Consequently, this research has undertaken a quantitative and qualitative assessment and management of the laboratory wastes of Zakaria Razi Laboratory Complex in Tehran
Science Research Branch Islamic Azad University.

Materials and Method: This study, primarily with the help of interviews, determined the most productive laboratories of the Complex, which then led to the selection of two educational laboratories and two research laboratories for qualitative and quantitative sampling. After sampling which the samples were
catalogued according to the four categories of corrosive, toxic, flammable and reactive.

Results: The findings of this research show that 54% of the hazardous waste of the research laboratories is flammable and in the educational laboratories 56% of the waste produced is corrosive.

Conclusion: In most of the laboratories in this complex (88%), a list of the hazardous waste produced is not compiled and stored, and in all but 16% of the laboratories where hazardous waste is disposed after being secured in appropriate containers, this waste is poured into the drain without any proper management. A list of produced wastes in each laboratory is required to be prepared, using the laboratory operator’s assistance.
