Contrary to popular belief, the dangers of pollutants in enclosedspaces are greater than in open environments. In this study, the ability ofthe computer models to simulate flow behavior in the interior space of anindustrial workshop was investigated to may check the satisfaction of theenvironmental standardsMaterials and Methods: The flow pattern and flow mixing and dilution wereinvestigated by developing a specific solver in Open FOAM and comparing theresults with the experimental data.Results: Due to the initial buoyancy, the plume enters from the lower openingwith high concentration and after diluting in indoor space, goes out fromthe roof opening. It is then observed that while there are no openings, theconcentration of Carbon Monoxide in the breathing height of workers willreach the dangerous limit of (100 ppm <) in different models.Conclusion: In this study, the concentration of Carbon Monoxide in thebuilding’s interior space was estimated far higher than the maximum allowablecentration mentioned in the standards. Therefore, the high level of pollutionconcentration in indoor spaces indicates the inadequacy of natural ventilationand the need for mechanical ventilation to could decrease pollution down tothe breathing standard of ocupants.}, keywords = {Light pollutant,transmission,Openfoam,Natural Ventilation,Carbon Monoxide}, title_fa = {مدلسازی عددی پخش و انتقال پلوم مونوکسید کربن در داخل ساختمان در شرایط ساکن}, abstract_fa = {زمینه و هدف: بیش از 90 درصد زندگی افراد در محیط های داخل ساختمان سپری می شود و آلودگی هوای داخل ساختمان عامل سالانه بیش از 2/2 میلیون مرگ و میر در سطح جهان است. بر خلاف تصورات رایج مردم، خطرات ناشی از آلاینده‌ها در مکان‌های بسته بیشتر از محیط های باز است. در این مطالعه هدف بررسی توانایی کامپیوتر در شبیه‌سازی رفتار جریان در فضای داخل ساختمان و ارزیابی امکان ارضای استانداردهای موجود است.مواد و روش‌ها: الگوی جریان و نحوه اختلاط و رقیق سازی پلوم از طریق توسعه یک حلگر در نرم افزار متن ‌باز اوپن فوم مورد بررسی قرار گرفته و نتایج با مشاهدات آزمایشگاهی مورد مقایسه قرار گرفته است. یافته ها: به علت شناوری مثبت پلوم مونوکسیدکربن، جریان ورودی از کف ساختمان، پس از صعود و پخش در فضای داخلی کارگاه، نهایتا از پنجره سقفی آن به خارج هدایت می‌گردد. به این ترتیب مشاهده شده است که در شرایط عدم وجود بازشوهای جانبی، میزان غلظت مونوکسیدکربن در ارتفاع تنفسی کارگران در مدلهای مختلف مورد آزمون، به حد بسیار خطرناک (>ppm 100) می‌رسد. نتیجه گیری: در این مطالعه غلظت آلاینده مونوکسیدکربن در فضای داخلی ساختمان بسیار فراتر از حداکثر مقدار مجاز توصیه شده در استانداردهای موجود برآورد گردیده است. بررسی غلظت آلودگی در فضای داخلی کارگاه بیانگر عدم کفایت تهویه طبیعی برای شرایط حاضر و لزوم استفاده از روش‌های مکانیکی جهت کاهش غلظت بالای آلودگی تا سطح استاندارد تنفسی افراد شاغل در آن است.}, keywords_fa = {آلاینده سبک,انتقال,اوپن فوم,تهویه طبیعی,مونوکسید کربن}, url = {https://jreh.mums.ac.ir/article_21525.html}, eprint = {https://jreh.mums.ac.ir/article_21525_e0fb4540fa6bb257b8b451706623b6aa.pdf} }
